Banking in Staritsa
Do as much as you banking at home or in Moscow. The most you'll be able to do in Staritsa is exchange dollars or Euros into roubles at rate that is 2-3% lower than in Moscow. And of course they want the bills to be fresh from the press. The bank is set up with a system to give MasterCard cash advances but the machine that reads cards has not yet been seen to work. I will certainly report when it does but for now COME TO STARITSA WITH ENOUGH ROUBLES.
