Located at the east entrance to the city (the Tver and Moscow side)

From there you can easily get to Tver and Rzhev for about $4 per ride (as of March 2007).

Buses also run to to most district centers of the Tver region at the cost of no more than $8.

Direct bus to Moscow leaves about 10am daily. No need to buy tickets in advance except Sundays in the summer time, when a lot of dacha owners are returning back to Moscow. The cost is 220 roubles + 60 roubles for one large piece of luggage (~ $10) for a 200-something kilometer ride.
