Moscow to Staritsa

During the 1999-2010 period of my life I constantly travelled between Moscow and the village of Dubrovki near Staritsa, Tver region, 250km north-west from Moscow. The area between Moscow and Staritsa is the part of the country I know best. I travelled there either via the New Riga highway (Krasnogorsk, Volokolamsk, Zubtsov, Rzhev), the Saint-Petersburg road (Khimki, Solnechnogorsk, Klin, Tver), or through smaller roads between these two (Mitino, Yaropolets, Lotoshino, Stepurino). You’ll find information on these cities and other notable places between Moscow and Staritsa here. I’ll group cities geographically. It is often not clear how to to group points but I hope the search function will help you find what you are looking for.
